Job Purpose (Job Summary):

Overall leadership and management responsibility for Invesco Fixed Income (IFI) factor business team.  This job will have a primary focus on business planning and execution around IFI factor business unit.  The position includes building commercialization plan in institutional and retail channels on a global basis.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Business Development:

     * Direct ownership and accountability for commercial success of IFI Factor platform including revenue and AUM growth targets

     * Formulate and execute on a go-to-market strategy for FI Factor investing for both retail and institutional channels:

          + Identify sizeable market opportunities aligned with our strengths

          + Work with the investment team to effectively communicate factor strategies to clients

          + Work with the product development team to identify product gaps and opportunities

Brand awareness:

     * Work with the office of factor investing, marketing and thought leadership teams in coordinating Invesco Factor messaging

Senior Representative for Key Stakeholders:

     * Sales: Builds strong, effective relationships with the global sales force supporting their efforts to execute an effective sales strategy for fixed income factor capabilities

     * Clients: Drives business growth by interfacing with key clients, brokers and consultants to promote Invesco Fixed Income products

     * Director of Factor-based Investing: Senior liaison for Fixed Income Factor business with the Director of Factor-Based Investing

     * Invesco Solutions Team: Senior liaison for Fixed Income Factor business with the Invesco Solutions team

Team Management:

     * Direct manager of junior Factor CPMs in Fixed income

     * Attracts, develops and retains the highest caliber fixed income business professionals and takes proactive steps to make Invesco an employer of choice

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Work Experience / Knowledge:

     * Significant retail and institutional client experience is a requirement

     * Strong experience (8+ years) in Factor based work and capital markets with definable investment acumen

     * Candidate must be capable of representing factor concepts across a wide array of asset classes in meetings with internal and external parties

     * Demonstrated success as a leader, mentor and developer of people preferably in a senior leadership position

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

     * Strong math and analytical skills capable of understanding underlying drivers of factor modeling

     * Team player who is comfortable in a collaborative team-oriented environment

     * Excellent presentation skills

     * Strong written and verbal communication skills

     * Effective with both brokers and consultants

     * Drive and initiative to build a performance oriented fixed income capability in a competitive market place

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

     * Master’s degree (or equivalent educational qualification) in finance, economics, mathematics or other business-related field of study preferred; or equivalent years of direct experience required

Working Conditions:

     * Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon projects or assignment and after hours work will be necessary

     * Strong requirement for domestic and international travel to build relationships with internal sales and external client base for the distribution of all IFI factor products
