Brief Description of the Organization CBNA is the primary legal entity for Citi, providing products and services to consumers, financial institutions and corporate clients around the world. In the past, Citi has provided most of its internal reporting on a business by business basis. With the changes in the regulatory environment, strong legal entity reporting and governance has become essential. This team is responsible for ensuring that CBNA has the appropriate governance and control infrastructure to meet the demand for legal entity planning, execution, information management and the ever-evolving regulatory environment.
Description of the Position
The Foundations & Endowments (F&E) business is a new focus for the rapidly growing NAM Investments organization. We believe that establishing a dedicated group focused on this client segment will allow us to establish CPB as a significant provider in the F&E space. This team will work across business lines and regions in developing a robust F&E offering for the Private Bank and will be the primary coverage team for significant F&E clients. We anticipate continuing to build out this team as the business grows, offering interesting development opportunities for the incumbent.

This will be a key role on the Foundations & Endowments Investment team based in NYC, offering a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and exposure to the full breadth of CPBs investment platform.
Key Responsibilities:
-Play a key support role in refining and rolling out a "Go To" portfolio for F&E clients, including traditional, hedge fund and private equity and real estate asset classes.
-The Investment Associate will partner closely with the F&E IC team and bankers to identify and pursue client opportunities across North America.
-Proactively searching for uncovered opportunities.
-Spearheading and completing more advanced ad hoc IC requests/analytics (client-specific or business strategy related).
-Leading market updates and product launch efforts.
-Identifying appropriate target clients for product launches (IDEA).
-Generating client proposals for the ICs in a highly reliable and independent way.
-With the mentoring and support of the ICs on the team, taking on increasing client interaction and ownership of portions of client reviews and updates.
-Discussing both managed investment and capital markets solutions for appropriate client portfolios (requires IP# and SP approval prior to soliciting orders).
-Developing a detailed understanding of the key business drivers and an opinion on how we continue to refine and expand our business.
-Seeking to improve processes/lead change efforts.
-Developing a strong network across business and product lines.

Business / Product Knowledge Development
-Demonstrate clear interest and affinity for markets and core investment principles.
-Become conversant in all aspects of the CPB investment platform (CM and MI, cash and derivative solutions).
-Develop a detailed knowledge of CPB's asset allocation methodology and its application to client portfolios, especially as relates to the F&E space.
-Active progress toward CFA designation will be viewed as a positive.
-Develop an in-depth understanding of our Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Fund offerings.
-Become fluent in our core asset management, discretionary and advisory solutions (CIM, MACs, Advisory Portfolios) and their performance drivers

-An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of reliability and attention to detail.
