Financial Analyst (R18-746)
As the Financial Analyst on the Corporate Planning team, you support the IT organization in preparation of O&M and capital project budgets, generate and interpret monthly and quarterly financial variances analysis, PowerPlan support during the annual budget and monthly forecast updates.  In addition, this position will oversee identifying opportunities for process improvements and coordinate cross functionally implementation of these business process changes.  
Typical responsibilities include:
Support the IT organization with monthly reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, position management and annual O&M and Capital budgets. 
Support the development of standard monthly and annual project reports and queries. Review for accuracy, identify discrepancies and propose resolutions.
Support users of the PowerPlant O&M and Capital budget modules by providing system support, training, troubleshooting and error correction.
Support economic analyses for IT projects and/or functions, including examining economics/costs and benefits. Develop reports to document analysis, assumptions, results, conclusions and issues.
Provide support to the IT organization; present analysis and work products to clients, team members, senior analysts and management.
What you can bring to the team: 
Knowledge of O&M and Capital budgeting, variance analysis, reporting and experience using Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of fundamental business and accounting principles.
Knowledge of finance, accounting and financial analysis.
Problem-solving skills.  Ability to analyze an issue or problem and implement solutions effectively.
Knowledge of IT organization structures and trends.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics with two or more years in related field.
