Client Portfolio Solutions Associate

The AIMS Client Portfolio Solutions team is responsible for managing client interactions across the AIMS investment businesses. These responsibilities include identifying and researching prospective investors, communicating the role and performance of traditional and alternative investments in client's portfolio, and working with clients and the AIMS investment teams to develop unique solutions. Functionally, the Associate role is a client facing position responsible for the day-today servicing of institutional clients with a focus on all matters related to the external managers in their portfolio.

The team works closely with other areas of AIMS and the broader firm including Global Portfolio Solutions, Institutional Sales, AIMS Risk Management & Analytics, Client Service teams, Fund Accounting/Controllers, Operations and Technology, Legal and Compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Principal Responsibilities:

Act as day-to-day contact for all matters related to AIMS managers within clients' portfolios
Assist with portfolio construction and implementation of new manager allocations across a wide range of asset classes and clients
Communicate to prospective and existing clients related to investment performance, portfolio exposures, concentrations, and manager developments
Coordination and creation of ongoing client deliverables as well as new business development activities
Assist with the creation of product profiles, pitch books and other marketing materials focused on AIMS services, products and performance
Manage communication and platform wide updates with internal sales and distribution channels (PWM, TPD, Institutional Sales) regarding AIMS managers and Funds
Actively assist in AIMS-wide initiatives and projects

Qualifications:

Four years or more of experience in client engagement, relationship management, portfolio management, manager research, and/or institutional consulting
CFA and/or CAIA preferred
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting to institutional investors and their staff
Strong interest in capital markets, asset management, and understanding of traditional and alternative asset classes
Strong organizational skills to oversee production of a high volume of quality work within tight timeframes, often including multiple simultaneous projects
Attention to detail - proven experience of delivering high levels of accuracy
Knowledge and understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word and adaptability to other internal systems
Candidate must be a team player and self-motivated and demonstrate a willingness to take on more responsibility
