UOB Venture Management ("UOBVM"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of UOB, is a leading private equity firm in Singapore managing over S$1 billion in committed capital. Established in 1991, UOBVM manages a family of funds providing financing to unlisted companies through direct equity investment, covering early stage, expansion, and pre-IPO companies in China and the ASEAN region.
As we are expanding, the Company has openings for experienced and self-driven professionals to join us in our Singapore office in the investment team. As a member of the investment team, you will be responsible for all aspects of making investments and divestments in the ASEAN region.
These include sourcing and evaluating investment deals, negotiation, deal structuring and closing, monitoring and adding value to portfolio companies, as well as preparing the portfolio companies for liquidity events. A key part of the job is to establish good network and contacts within the region to achieve our investment objectives. Travel on a regular basis within the region is expected.

Job requirements:
- A good degree from a recognized university. Those with a postgraduate qualification such as MBA, CPA or CFA would have an advantage
- At least 6-8 years' relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Must be familiar with the ASEAN region
- Good business development and analysis skills with an understanding of the ASEAN market, strong network of business contacts and ability to source deals within the region
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong proficiency in reading and writing Chinese would be an advantage as you will be handling Chinese-speaking market
- Ability to speak another Southeast Asian language would be an advantage
