TorreyCove is looking to hire a highly qualified Associate to support the activities of the Investment Research Team.

Candidate Qualities:

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly in writing
  • General aptitude for problem solving, and proactively seeking out information to complete projects
  • Creative / strategic thinker with the ability to present and defend independent well researched opinions to others                  

Functional Responsibilities:

General support role for all activities of the Firm’s Investment Research Team that includes but is not limited to:

  • Investment sourcing
  • Preliminary investment screening
  • Comprehensive investment due diligence
  • Market, Industry, sector, strategy, and other focused research and analytics
  • Maintenance of internal databases
  • Present and defend investment research work to the Investment Team and Investment Committee 
  • Performance analysis / Financial Modeling
  • Business development support
  • Client service support
  • Other special projects and assignments as needed

Necessary Qualifications:

For consideration, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Two to four years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity consulting and/or other finance-related role
  • History of academic excellence
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Enrollment in CFA program a plus but not required
