Role Overview

The successful candidate would be responsible for taking a core role in ensuring success in the team's efforts to:

- Educate / train Trustees and other stakeholders in the LDI process

- Evaluate liability sensitivities, design and deliver portfolio solutions in conjunction with the Strategic Solutions, Portfolio Management and Derivative Structuring Teams

- Work with colleagues to deliver client solutions. In particular, they would take the lead and ownership of delivery of the solution for a specifically allocated client roster.

- Assist in developing and improving the existing infrastructure to enhance the control environment and scale-ability of the solution design, delivery and reporting process

- Work with distribution and the consultant relations teams to promote solutions and wider capabilities amongst consultants

- To promote the companies thought leadership to a wide audience including publications, press and conference presentations

- To develop, in collaboration with distribution, the portfolio management and derivative structuring team new products and solutions for both the institutional and intermediated markets - To sell the companies capabilities to potential clients as part of the education and beauty parade processes

- Work with distribution, the portfolio management and derivative structuring teams to ensure the control environment surrounding solution delivery is robust

The essential skills a candidate should demonstrate are:

- A proven track record of solutions management (or equivalent) at (preferably) an established LDI house, banking environment or specialist team within an investment consultancy. 4-7 years experience is ideal

- Derivative knowledge and understanding

- One or more of the following skills: part/fully qualified actuary or CFA or equivalent capital markets experience

- An ability to show initiative, value teamwork, effectively prioritise tasks and juggle competing business requirements

- A capacity to manage change and growth in a risk controlled manner - Presentation and sales skills 

- Be able to demonstrate a capacity to work cooperatively with other investor groups, distribution and infrastructure - Dependable and reliable delivery of work under their own initiative
