HSBC Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth. This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager Wealth Model Management .

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the management of our wealth portfolio management framework through use of market leading risk models and analytics covering different market environments and trends
  • Support the implementation of key Financial Planning and Advice models include but not limited to Customer Risk Profiling model, Product Risk Rating model, Simulation model and other models relating to advice and suitability
  • Ensure that models are fit for purpose, best in class and represent industry best practice
  • Manage local alignment to global financial planning and wealth model governance standards
  • Ensure a high level of compliance and control for the implementation of the models including oversight processes, quality checks and reporting
  • Work together with Retail Distribution to embed the Financial Planning and Wealth Portfolio Management models in delivering market leading wealth solution in Hong Kong
  • Keep abreast of industry and regulatory changes to timely determine opportunities and transformation needs


Qualifications

Requirements

  • ​University degree in a business or quantitative finance discipline
  • Undergoing Certified Financial Planner or Chartered Financial Analyst training
  • Strong in mathematical and analytics skills
  • Experience in model management and governance
  • Ability to handle multitude of initiatives and implementation quality
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and communication skills
