Department:  Client Strategies Group - Solutions & CEI Consultation
The Client Strategies Group is responsible for leading the firm in ensuring our clients are on track to meet their financial goals. Client Consultation Group, a team within CSG, exists to provide branch teams with a single point of contact at the home office to help branches more deeply serve high net worth clients with complex needs.

Description
General Wealth Strategists leverage the extensive resources of our home office to support our financial advisors in serving their high net worth clients with complex needs.  This position plays a critical role in serving as the primary point of contact between the two groups. You will be called upon as a subject matter expert on the firm's full suite of financial planning tools and how they're leveraged to help clients define their financial goals and identify solutions to keep them on-track. Additionally, you will apply  knowledge of financial planning disciplines to unique client circumstances

You'll be joining a team of 15 high-energy associates (as part of a larger department with 50+ associates across two countries), with tenure ranging from years to decades, dedicated to personal development, inclusion and diversity.

Responsibility Summary
Develop solutions-based recommendations for high-net worth clients with complex needs using a team approach which requires technical knowledge for a particular subject matter area in addition to broader financial concepts.
Present recommendations to advisors and clients as part of a team or individually.
Participate in departmental projects and initiatives in order to more deeply serve branch teams and high-net worth clients.
  Qualifications Required for the Job:  Knowledge, Skills and  Abilities
 
     * 3+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
     * Bachelor’s degree  in Business, Finance, Accounting or Law required
     * Series 7 & 66 required or attainable within 6 months of hire
     * Certified Financial Planner (CFP^®) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) required or process to begin within 6 months of hire and must actively pursue consistent with department policy.
     * Exceptional written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills – ability to simplify the complex
     * Personal initiative and ability to collaborate
     * Strong understanding of Edward Jones processes including the implementation of the financial planning process
     * Understanding and alignment with the firm values, beliefs, policies, procedures as well as business objectives
