Investment Counsellors (ICs) are investment specialists within a marketing team. The primary role of the IC is to formulate investment strategies and work with Relationship Managers in managing client portfolios.

Team Head, Investment Counsellor, PAINT (Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand)
Manage a team of Investment Counsellors whose primary role is to support Relationship Managers in managing client portfolios and advising products.
  • Lead team of Investment Counsellors ("IC") who support Relationship Managers ("RM") in the Philippines, Australia, Indonesia and Thailand Market in managing client portfolios and advising products.
  • Responsible for setting direction for the IC team and developing revenues targets to be generated by the team of Investment Counsellors.
  • Responsible for the overall IC activities of the IC team.
  • Support Relationship Managers by formulating investment ideas that fit inside the client's target strategic asset allocation and reflect the investment objectives and risk profile.
  • Manage selected key clients. Work with Relationship Managers to develop key clients and prospects.
  • Portfolio reviews with key clients.
  • Effectively leverage on the firm's products and product teams to meet the investment needs of the clients.
  • Work closely with the Products team to deliver co-ordinated investment ideas to the IC team.
  • Actively involved in generating new product ideas with the product team.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to compliance, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure zero scorecard on RMs for clients under IC management


Qualifications
Qualifications
    • Over 15 years in client advisory
    • Familiar with all asset classes
    • More than 5 years' experience in managing a team
    • Strong client relationships
    • Strong interpersonal skills

Education
    • Degree in Finance-related field
    • CFA required
