We're looking for a professional to join our Third Party Distribution team covering Private Banking, who wants to be a part of our Investment Management Division and use their skills and ideas to make an impact to the success of the business at Goldman Sachs.


Based in Hong Kong, the individual will be joining the GSAM's Third Party Distribution (TPD) Team to help develop and strengthen our relationships with Private Banks in Asia ex Japan.

Principle Responsibilities:
  • Candidate is required to develop in-depth client relationships independently with the growing number of distributors in the region
  • Work closely with the sales team to expand and deepen the existing PB relationships in Hong Kong and Singapore
  • Business engagement with the second to third tier PB segments in HK
  • Work with sales leader to better understand the Greater China Region sales landscape and business requirements

Basic skills:
  • Experienced sales or possess minimum 5 - 10 years of sales experience at a global asset management firm, servicing the private banking businesses in North Asia
  • For HK based sales, he/she must have fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin
  • Has good product knowledge with strong technical background
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and maturity in handling clients's relationship
  • Genuine commitment to generating and closing sales opportunities
  • Strong sales personality, high energy level, resilient temperament, outgoing, resourceful and possesses intellectual curiosity
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic
  • Collaborative and collegiate team player

Preferred skills:
  • CFA preferred but not mandatory
