Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with deal origination and manage the end-to-end transaction process in relation to ECM, DCM, M&A and Corporate Finance advisory mandates
  • Analyze operational and financial performance of target companies and develop robust financial models
  • Review financial business plans and perform business valuation including sensitivity/ scenario analysis
  • Assist with advising on transaction structuring and corporate/ financial restructuring
  • Monitor and analyze macroeconomic and capital market trends and developments, develop and maintain internal database and provide regular updates
  • Develop technical and commercial proposals and prepare pitch-books
  • Assist in appointment of third party advisors/ service providers
  • Review, analyze and assist in finalization of due diligence, valuation and other third party reports
  • Develop and maintain a detailed transaction timeline and identify potential delays in achieving critical milestones
  • Manage regulatory filing and approval process and ensure smooth execution of the transaction
  • Prepare transaction documents and marketing collateral such as the prospectus, investor presentation, press releases, etc.
  • Assist in planning and arranging investor meetings/ roadshows
  • Attend meetings and liaise with key stakeholders throughout the transaction process to facilitate transaction execution
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures and maintain deal files   

Relevant Experience & Qualification

  • 4-5 years of experience in investment banking (ECM, M&A, DCM, Corporate Finance advisory), private equity, equity research or related field
  • CFA charterholder,  MBA, CA, Masters in Finance/ Economics or other relevant degree
