Position Purpose

To conduct corporate credit risk analysis and market research on corporates in North Asia for Wealth Management

Key Responsibilities
  • Spread and analysis financial statements. Prepare rigorous and synthetic credit proposals with accurate and comprehensive analysis in line with the bank policies (by performing financial analysis, peer comparison, cash flow projection, industry review, SWOT analysis, etc)
  • Able to identify and evaluate credit risks in large corporate transactions.
  • Assess market data of the underlying company, liquidity, volatility, stress test/back test
  • Assign, propose and align risk rating with Corporate Banking/ Investment Banking
  • Monitor on-going credit developments of the assigned corporates. Stay alert of market news and rating evolution of the corporate


Competencies (Technical / Behavioural)
  • Minimum 2.5 years relevant credit analyst experience, preferably in handling local mid-cap corporates portfolio
  • Analytical mind, well organized and attentive to details
  • A team player with ability to work under pressure with quick turnaround and multi-tasking
  • Ability to manage one's own time effectively and to work under pressure and independently
  • Good command of spoken and written English, preferably proficient in Mandarin & Cantonese
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Excel in computer skills - Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
Qualifications
  • University graduate; major in Finance or Accounting
  • ACCA or CFA qualification a plus
