We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join the Emerging Markets team based in Singapore. This role will support portfolio managers, including monitoring portfolio performance, conducting statistical analysis, assembling and reviewing data, completing performance attribution analysis, monitoring cash flows, maintaining target allocations and completing ad-hoc and recurring analysis. The candidate will be required to assess and reconcile results that are inconsistent with fund and/or strategy objectives. The role serves as a PM's primary point of contact with investment operations, compliance, client service and business analysts.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?
- Portfolio Management Support
- Ensure investment management and trading decisions are implemented properly at the individual portfolio level for applicable strategies within EMG.
- Conduct portfolio analysis and prepare status reports on accounts
- Act as portfolio management contact
- Research/Analytics
- Perform fundamental research on assigned sectors/companies
- Prepare of initiating reports on prospective investments
- Prepare of quarterly updates and ongoing analysis of investments
- Marketing and Business Support
- Write responses for RFPs and other questionnaires
- Participate in due diligence, financial advisor and sponsor updates and new business development when needed
Qualifications
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimally Level 2 CFA
- 2 to 4 years of experience in research across different sectors
- Strong communication in English, both verbally and written
- Proficient in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities
- Self-starter who is able to work independently
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to multitask
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
