The Job:

  • Report to both local CEO and Hong Kong HQ Risk Management department, assist to plan, design and implement an overall risk management process for Singapore office
  • Monitor and manage the overall market and credit risk exposures of the Singapore office
  • Interact and liaise with all local stakeholders including Business Lines, Finance, Operations and Legal & Compliance departments
  • Being the primary contact for all the risk management related issues for Singapore office
  • Conduct annual enterprise risk management for the local office
  • Risk reporting for major business lines on periodic basis and risk reporting for the local office to Hong Kong HQ
  • Take initiative on formulating and refine the existing risk control methodologies and process
  • Responsible for ad-hoc projects/assignments
  • Conduct periodic stress test
  • ¬†Maintain a log to document the identified risks and action taken
  • ¬†Analyze & evaluate trade data to identify various key risk areas
  • ¬†Develop and update policies and procedures by enforcing document standards


  • Minimum 2 years of risk management related experience in investment banks or securities firms
  • Minimum Bachelor degree graduate from Finance, Risk Management, Accounting or other quantitative disciplines
  • Professional qualification such as FRM / CFA is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Excel VBA and macro
  • Versatile, proactive and able to work both independently with minimal supervision and also collaboratively with other departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua (in order to liaise with Chinese & Putonghua speaking associates) and preferably one other local dialect
