Seeking a Senior Investment Analyst

The University of Oregon Foundation is a private employer, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. We administer thousands of gifts donated annually to support the University, and manage endowments, trusts, and short- and intermediate-term assets. We strongly value employees who demonstrate respect, trust, integrity and commitment.

This position directly supports all efforts associated with that responsibility. It is a multi-faceted support position, conducting research and analysis, working collaboratively with teammates and the Chief Investment Officer. Responsibilities require a multitude of talents ranging from a passion for investing, to analytical and creative thinking, historical knowledge for current comprehension, emotional resiliency to work and make decisions under pressure, a personal desire to keep learning, and a personal desire to be the very best one can be.

In order to succeed one needs a passion and commitment to do the very best in support of the mission, the team and finally the individual. The bar is high: for endowments, to maintain their long-term purchasing power; for shorter-term assets, to preserve their corpus while maximizing returns.

The team is lean and the expectation is that no job is beneath any team member. Conversely, the team is lean and the only limits in this position are self-imposed ones.

For the full job description see our website. Salary will be commensurate with experience and market competitive, and a generous benefits package is provided.
