Corporate Finance Executive
Aston Murray is currently recruiting a Corporate Finance Executive for a boutique corporate finance firm based in Mayfair, central London.
This Corporate Finance Executive role will work alongside the senior advisory team providing corporate finance advice to both public market and private clients on equity fundraising, acquisitions and disposals and business strategy. The firm works across a range of sectors, including: real estate and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs); infrastructure; renewable power; and technology.
This Corporate Finance Executive role will be directly involved in corporate finance, fundraising and M&A transactions and will be expected to assist in drafting and reviewing transaction documentation and managing projects. They will be expected to take responsibility for delivering engagements whilst working to tight deadlines and be innovative in developing solutions.
Examples of specific tasks will include; drafting and/or review of relevant documentation; regulatory advice; research; project management; working closely with clients, ranging from operational teams to board directors; liaising with accountants, lawyers and other professional advisers, as well as regulators; and adhering to Know Your Client / Anti Money Laundering procedures.
The successful candidate will be from either a corporate legal, corporate finance, corporate broking, or a transaction services background, with experience in public market transaction documentation and providing regulatory advice. They will have a strong academic record including a post graduate qualification (legal, finance (CFA), accountancy (ACA) or MBA) and have excellent communication skills. Finally it is essential that they have some or all of the following experience; drafting regulatory and client documents (prospectuses, AIM admission documents, public offer documents, circulars and information memoranda), creation of client presentations, providing advice on financial services regulation (FCA Handbook, the Takeover Code, AIM Rules, etc.), and liaising with regulators.

The role is highly varied (covering private, public, debt and equity deals) and you will be working very closely with the clients as well. You will rapidly become a well-rounded corporate financier and be very well rewarded for it.
This Corporate Finance Executive role is paying around £60K as a base salary (depending on experience) with up to a 100% discretionary performance based cash bonus.
