The Senior Investment Analyst will provide support to the Chief Investment Officer who oversees the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the Endowment. The Investment Team is responsible for recommending asset allocation policy changes; selecting, monitoring and terminating investment managers; identifying investment opportunities; measuring performance of individual managers, asset categories, and the total portfolio; reporting performance to the Investment Subcommittee; and for meeting regularly with investment managers to review results, exposures and activity.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of the Endowment and existing investments
- Monitor existing investment managers including performance, risk and exposures and news flow
- Acquire information and reports needed to perform various analytics
- Analyze data generated from various databases
- Assist in preparing, editing and organizing material for meetings
- Gather data and perform analysis necessary for periodic review of Endowment asset allocation policy
- Expertise with hedge funds, credit and real estate
- Operate as an integral member of the Investment Office by supporting the CIO on the implementation of the Endowments strategy
- Help track potential manager, investments and market trends
- Assist in new manager and investment diligence by participating in calls and meetings, researching the opportunity set and doing comparative analysis
- Contribute to research projects on different investment strategies, markets, countries and industries
- Support team preparation of reports for weekly team meetings

- This position is located in our New York City Office
- Able to work occasional evenings, holidays or weekends
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Relevant 5 to 8 years of work experience in the area of asset management
- Prior work experience at an endowment, foundation or family office
- Strong quantitative skills; excellent MS Excel skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully interact with groups outside of the Investment Office
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and through written communication
- Strong work ethic and unquestionable ethical standard
- Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
