Vice President, Investor Relations
Our client is a leading private equity firm who is looking to add an experienced individual to join their expanding investor services team. This candidate will need to have a strong technical background and exceptional project management ability. This could have been gained within a fund placement team or in-house investor relations/client services role with an alternative investment firm. Candidates who may be looking to switch from a finance/operations function within private equity to the investor relations function could also be considered.
Suitable candidates will have a first class academic background combined with approximately six to ten years' relevant work experience. We are specifically interested in candidates from placement agents, funds of funds and private equity or debt funds. Previous exposure to private equity or other alternative investments is essential. Candidates will need to have undertaken an ACA or CFA qualification (or equivalent).
The appointee will manage a broad range of activities which primarily includes supporting an existing global investor base. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Project management of fundraising processes;
- Preparation of investor communications and marketing material for existing and new investors;
- Drafting PPMs, case studies and other material for new funds;
- Dealing with investor queries;
- Managing the due diligence process;
Excellent financial and analytical ability, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills are key requirements for this position. You will be ambitious, hardworking and a quick learner who enjoys being part of a team in a demanding, non-hierarchical environment.
