Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) is one of the company's four main divisions. WIM businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance and both individual and institutional retirement.

Wealth Management (WM): Wealth Management business is a leading provider of financial services to high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients through Wells Fargo Private Bank (TPB), and to the affluent segment through partnerships between Wealth Brokerage Services and the Community Bank. In Wealth Management, clients are provided with a complete range of solutions to help them manage, preserve and transfer their wealth.

The Portfolio Manager 3 is responsible for the delivery, internal servicing and implementation of select "modeled" or optimized investment strategies offered through Wells Fargo Investment & Fiduciary Services (IFS) Managed Disciplined Strategies platform Solutions include individually managed equities and fixed income portfolios, mutual, common and exchange traded funds. Serves as the liaison between financial intermediaries such as the bank's Relationship Managers, Wealth & Trust Advisors, Investment Managers, Wells Fargo Financial Advisors and other IFS partners as required.

Oversee the set-up, maintenance and implementation of "target", or modeled portfolios across accounts managed or supported by assigned personnel, process ad-hoc purchases, sales and redemptions as required, ensure timely and accurate settlement thereof, monitor portfolios to ensure compliance with the firm's policies and procedures and any client- or document-imposed constraints, and maintain related applications/databases as required.

Research and resolve trading and/or other account-level irregularities resulting in potential operating losses and/or temporary suspension from block trading activities. Oversee timely processing and/or resolution of all trading irregularities involving accounts participating in the programs.

Perform related duties as assigned or requested.

Locations: Charlotte, NC, Winston-Salem, NC, Philadelphia, PA, Jacksonville, FL, Minneapolis, MN, St Louis, MO, Austin, TX, Las Vegas, NV, and Long Beach, CA.

Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of investment experience, demonstrated through work, military, or education

Desired Qualifications
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Visio skills
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or demonstrated progress toward the designation

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in securities markets/trading and/or model-based portfolio management
  • 3 + years of experience managing/servicing a high volume of affluent (high net worth) client investment portfolios/relationships
  • Knowledgeable in use of automated asset allocation, reconciliation and trading systems, e.g., Moxy , FiServ, SEI, etc.
