You will be part of the Financial Modelling team developing, tailoring and auditing financial models using Microsoft Excel to forecast cash flows, balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Based on your skills, aptitudes and abilities there will be genuine opportunities to progress and develop the role.
The role will require the individual to build detailed financial models for various uses but with the key focus being infrastructure project finance. The successful candidates will be involved in all phases of the bid process and the financial structuring of projects across all sectors within infrastructure finance.
As a small professional company all members of the team are utilised to help support all of the company's operations and an open-plan/flat structure operates to assist individual development. The successful candidate(s) will benefit from the immediate on the job experience (after completing the in-house training programme) that comes with working for a small dynamic company, and will develop financial modelling skills which are sure to be of real value to those pursuing a career in finance.
- A 2.1 from a top university in a science, engineering or maths based degree
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work and communicate as part of a team
DWPF will provide the opportunity to develop an extensive knowledge of financial modelling, whilst also supporting you to study for your ACA or CFA qualification, meeting the costs and providing study leave to attend classroom courses with a professional training provider.
