Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Invesco is seeking to hire an Associate Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) for Invesco’s Fixed Income (IFI) investment team. The Associate CPM will be an integral part of IFI’s existing CPM team, supporting all aspects of the CPM’s role in representing investment teams in client meetings and other business related matters. This position provides broad exposure to financial markets, portfolio analysis, investment product development and distribution, along with written and oral client communications.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:
     * Interact effectively with Invesco’s internal teams:
     * Assist in answering RFP/RFI questionnaires, Help prepare client presentation and marketing materials, Utilize risk and performance attribution data to develop portfolio commentaries,
     * support the communication of portfolio/asset class themes to sales, Interface with legal & compliance for fund or separate account related tasks, Collaborate on ad-hoc research projects
     * Assist with business-related functions:
     * Assist Senior CPMs with the preparation and execution of business plans, Work with market data research teams to gather and articulate competitive landscape and industry trends,
     * Help monitor assets, including pipeline of opportunities and investment flows, Participate in the development and launch of new products/vehicles, Support thought leadership initiatives including whitepapers, blogs and other media
     * Support client-related interactions:
     * Build and maintain knowledge of macroeconomic landscape and asset class trends, Interact with PMs and Analysts to maintain a detailed, Understanding of portfolio holdings, positioning, activity, and performance,
     * Liaise with sales force to ensure timeliness and high-quality standards for client meetings are met, Facilitate responses to internal and external client inquiries


REQUIRED SKILLS:


Work Experience / Knowledge:
     * Three to five years of prior work experience in the financial services industry
     * Prior experience within investment management or fixed income preferred
     * Prior experience working with Blackrock Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, etc. is a plus

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
     * Interest in financial markets and investing
     * Focus on delivering exceptional service to clients
     * Strong analytical/data manipulation capabilities
     * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
     * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint
     * Results orientation and attention to detail
     * Team-oriented with ability to multi-task and time manage

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
     * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field

License/Registration/Certification: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
     * FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses or progress toward CFA is a plus
