Baker Street Advisors, a private family wealth management firm, is looking for an experienced professional Financial Analyst for our Client Service team. The primary role of an Analyst is to provide financial planning and tax services to our high net worth family clients.  Your resume should showcase your academic and employment experience.   Our ideal candidate has a strong academic background with experience in family wealth management or financial services, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily aspects of a client relationship, including:
    • Transactions (transfers, wires, checks, trading, etc.)
    • Client and business partner inquiries
    • Other miscellaneous daily activities
  • Research and resolve tax and investment issues
  • Collaborate with Manager, Vice President, Senior Vice President and Partner on client strategy
  • Prepare and review analysis on client issues
  • Assure client records are updated regularly
  • Assist Vice President, Senior Vice President and Manager with quarterly investment performance reporting requirements and oversee quarterly reporting requirements for clients with a lower level of assets to manage
  • Manage custodial relationships as they relate to the client
  • Manage relationships with other client support partners
  • Assist in advisement on new business
  • Coordinate with clients’ CPAs on quarterly/annual investment data related to tax compliance
  • Facilitate implementation for all client needs
  • Transition to acting Manager for clients of lesser net worth

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, CFP or CFA (or ongoing pursuit of the designation) preferred, CPA also valued
  • Ability to be a self-starter, drive to results, be a team player, with a friendly and positive personality
  • One to three years relevant industry experience, ideally with a family wealth management office or accounting firm
  • Top-notch, client focused, communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Excel
