Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement structured commodity strategies that align short-term business needs and long-term company objectives for global sourcing and with stakeholders
    • Annual business goals and actions creation
    • Understanding global price trends and economics around assigned commodities
    • Supply chain optimization understanding total cost of ownership
    • Innovation discovery and facilitation
    • Make-Buy and supplier selection evaluations
  • Potential investment screening, transaction structuring, financial analysis, due diligence, financial modeling and valuation, and liaison with investors and professional parties
  • Strategic & Investment Planning: Identify potential global investment opportunities in worldwide and generate acquisition analysis, feasibility studies;
  • Provide corporate finance, M&A, advisory services, and such transactions support services as financial due diligence, valuation and analysis of funding approaches.
  • Responsible for Business Development and Investment strategies providing analysis and advises for company strategic planning;
  • To manage the investment process from deal-sourcing completion;
  • Prepare and present investment proposals and investment reporting for the Group;
  • P&L Management: Manage financial modeling for existing company and Joint Venture assets to ensure capital growth;
  • Market Analysis: to manage market research to support investment strategy recommendations;
  • Identify and handle Overseas (Including Western, US, Asia market etc.) M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) as well as equity projects.
     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above plus professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CPA or other relevant qualifications;
  • Over 8 years of experience in oversea M&A, corporate finance industry with an in-depth understanding of the market;
  • Big 4/Investment Banking M&A transaction advisory background is a must;
  • Familiar with corporate finance, quantitative finance, financial market conditions and understand financial market-related laws and regulations;
  • Significant negotiation and execution experience;
  • Experience in leading investment projects would be an advantage;
  • Proactive, details-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines and in dynamic environment;
  • Good command of spoken and written Mandarin and English
