Duties and Major Responsibilities:

  • Interact with management, clients and fund custodians to place various types of financial trades, such as equity and fixed income trades
  • Compile reports for executives, clients, and portfolio managers
  • Provide exceptional client service, with excellent follow through
  • Monitor fund performance 
  • Create monthly reports in support of compliance activities
  • Lead due diligence process
  • Handle large block trades
  • Oversee electronic confirmations and portfolio modeling
  • Daily reconciliation of holdings in models, custodian or the fund’s accounting records

Qualifications/Competencies:

 

  • CFA or CFA Candidate a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment            
  • Analytical and work well under pressure
  • Facility with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or accounting
  • Additional experience with financial software reporting (such as Envestnet, Advent/BlackDiamond, or Portfolio Center), modeling (such as Stylus, Morningstar or Zephyr), and re-balancing tools (such as iRebal or Envestnets Tamarac) preferred
  • Three to seven years of work experience in finance and/or the financial services industry

Must have series 66 and series 7 exams or obtain within 45 days of hire
