Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate (CounterpointeSRE) is an entrepreneurial financing company looking for smart, energetic interns and full-time business analyst who want to work in a fast paced environment of a rapidly growing industry.
PACE financing is a voluntary property assessment to repay municipal bonds used in the financing of energy efficiency, renewable generation, water conservation, wind resistance, flood mitigation and seismic strengthening improvements to properties. Working in conjunction with local governments, Counterpointe Energy Solutions LLC (CES) is one of the leading property assessed clean energy (PACE) program administrators in the nation. Founded in 2013 by Wall Street veterans with decades of mortgage and securities experience, CES operates under the AllianceNRG Program brand name for residential properties. Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate finances energy efficiency and disaster resilience improvements for CES’s nationwide funding platform for commercial properties as CounterpointeSRE.
Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate seeks members to join their Team to work with all business units and related third parties in origination, Registered Professional relations and marketing. Internship opportunities exist in multiple departments. You will work directly with founders and should expect to have responsibilities, challenges and projects outside the usual experience that will stretch you outside your comfort zone.
Team members will be trained to field calls from applicants and to assist in the collection and processing of documents for underwriting commercial properties. Responsibilities will include providing support and assistance to underwriters, bond issuance and finance staff by assisting with bond issuance, funding and processing. Positions also include providing assistance in contractor registration, proposals and requests for payment. Qualified teammates may assist with analytics and programming. Responsibilities may also include targeting new referral sources and developing marketing materials. There is interface with government agencies and institutional investors as well as contractors, property owners and property managers. Success will lead to further financial or marketing responsibilities.
The successful applicants must have a commitment to work with a sense of urgency to accomplish projects, the ability to prioritize and to interact with various departments simultaneously. They must have superior organizational and analytical skills. While we will consider all applicants, those with majors in finance, mathematics, engineering or computer science are preferred. Teammates with commercial real estate, construction or finance industry experience will be given more responsibilities. Full-time positions are available for those with B.S./B.A. degrees, while those who have completed at least two years of college will be preferred for internships. Overall, we are looking for great people with great attitudes to join our team as we are rapidly expanding.
