Role, Duties and Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional with sheer passion for investing to join a close-knit team and share in an ambitious development plan. Under the supervision of the investment committee, the Investment Manager will be expected to contribute to idea generation, analysis, execution and coverage of investment opportunities. While this includes deep and thoughtful investment analysis, it also entails engaging directly with target companies' senior executives and industry experts. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Producing high quality investment ideas
  • Performing ‘due diligence process'-like analysis
  • Interacting with target companies' management, customers, suppliers, competitors
  • Consulting with industry experts
  • Developing successful investment theses
  • Contributing to informed and respectful debate within the team
  • Operating as an active member of the executive management team



Most importantly, an Investment Manager will have to be able to identify, analyze and seize compelling investment opportunities in the Long/Short equity space (developed markets). Specific characteristics include:  

  • Exceptional academic record from world-class Business or Engineering Schools
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of professional experience in top Business Consulting or Private Equity firms
  • Keen interest in investment and a strong business sense
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to structure and process qualitative or quantitative information and draw insightful conclusions from it
  • Excellent quantitative and communication ability
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • High degree of efficiency and effectiveness, strong time management capability
  • Good general computer skills, Bloomberg knowledge a plus
  • Autonomy, dynamism and rigor
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in English, French and possibly another language
  • Teamwork orientation
  • Honesty and integrity, strong work ethic
  • Previous successful public equity investing experience a plus, not a pre-requirement
  • CFA, MBA a plus
