Job Duties:                      

  • Ongoing analysis of equity, fixed income and private equity investments    
  • Ongoing economic analysis
  • Formulating and communicating investment recommendations
  • Implementing and monitoring of investments
  • Divesting investments
  • Ongoing market research
  • Ongoing relationship management with investee entities

Skills requirements: 

  • Demonstrate a broad based knowledge of equity, fixed income and private equity investments
  • Possess significant experience with value investing
  • Chief Investment Officer or senior financial management experience of a comparable scale, with 15+ years of experience at an executive level
  • 20+ years of experience with financial products, including significant experience as a broker, trader and equities analyst
  • Specialized knowledge regarding equity and fixed income securities, including the trading of such securities in India
  • Knowledge of, and experience working in, the insurance and reinsurance industries
  • Bachelor of Commerce, Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and conceptual insights
  • Proven strong leadership skills, including the ability to build and manage a team
  • Executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Additional language skills would be considered an asset
