Credit risk Modelling Analyst - Credit Risk


One of our leading clients leading - A tier 1 bank is looking to add a Credit Risk Modelling Analyst to join the Credit Risk Modelling Team. In this exciting new role you will play a key part in helping to drive sustainable portfolio growth by effectively utilising your analytical skills.


Your new company
Situated in the capital city, this bank is looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual to help with the modelling of the banks mortgages portfolio. Sitting within the Credit modelling team you will assist senior management with a diverse range of strategic business issues. You will be exposed to all of the banks activities associated with Credit Risk allowing you to gain a considerable amount of experience in this area.

Your new role
This is a dynamic role that will enable you to utilise your existing analytical skills whilst providing you with significant learning opportunities to further develop your practical understanding. You will be responsible for embedding risk appetite into product Areas within the Credit Risk Portfolio. In your new role as a Credit Risk Modelling Analyst you will be responsible for identifying and managing emerging model risks in the banks Mortgages Portfolio.

What you'll need to succeed - Essential
3yrs Credit Risk Experience (Ideally Unsecured) Industry experience using SAS (Ideally in Credit Risk)
Strong Analytical ability (Evidenced by modelling experience in Credit Risk)
Educational Background MSc, CFA or BSc, BA
Experience with general retail banking (Ideally mortgages)
