YOUR IMPACT

Working within Global Compliance as part of the Compliance Regulatory Change project delivery team, this role is central to supporting the firm's regulatory change compliance for MiFID II (and other regulatory change projects). The role works alongside compliance project managers, interfacing with divisional compliance teams, divisional project delivery teams and wider firmwide regulatory project teams to aid in ensuring overall regulatory change compliance.

OUR IMPACT

The Global Compliance division interprets regulatory requirements to ensure the firm is in compliance and determines how to appropriately pursue global market opportunities. Our analysts monitor regulatory trends in every jurisdiction where the firm operates and we work with regulators to manage financial market risk.

You'll be part of a team with members from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, such as law, accounting, sales, and trading. We look for those who possess sound judgment, curiosity, and are able to adapt to a changing regulatory landscape.

Based in Daniel House, this role will work as part of the Compliance Regulatory Affairs team. You will be required to work closely with divisional compliance officers, the firmwide project management office and workstream project managers / workstream project leads.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• You will operate across regulatory programme workstreams to help facilitate and deliver solutions that meet the quality criteria established by Compliance Management and the MiFID II Programme Team
• Provide analytical, documentary support to compliance project managers and other members of Compliance
• Support and participate in working groups for solutions development and implementation of regulatory change
• Assist in adherence to/ implementation of Compliance Programme Management tools to be leveraged by divisional compliance
Examples include:
o Requirements and design documentation standards
o Client Engagement requirement definition and documentation standards
o Testing approach and documentation standards
o Firmwide project management regulatory traceability framework (blueprint)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Compliance experience or experience of Regulatory Change in a project environment
• Must understand the importance of and be able to work to tight deadlines
• Calm with good interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communications skills
• Concern for accuracy, with good attention to detail
• An individual who has been able to demonstrate the following skillsets in their current and/or previous roles:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)/ JIRA experience (not essential)
• Experience with MiFID 2 or in an Audit/Accountancy role (to have a qualification as a Chartered Accountant, or other relevant
professional financial qualification (e.g CFA) would be helpful. We will also consider part-qualified candidates currently on other
bank ACA/or similar programmes)
• Keen to learn new information, adopt new skills and have the ability to identify and make improvements to systems and processes
