Job Description

Participating in due diligence and deal structuring exercise and preparing the Informational Memorandum to be submitted to the Investment Committee and/or the Board

Carry out deal structuring in line with the overall risk and investment guidelines, and as per the parameters finalized during the Investment Committee meetings

Keeping up to date with the recent happenings in the market and sector assigned to him/her, following up announcements issued by the regulators from time to time as well the different reports issued by the specialized institutions

Developing proprietary methodology and creating best-practices around nurturing and developing FIs

Collaborating with the Advisory Services team to provide corporate finance and other advisory services to the portfolio FIs (including M&A, IPO, structured financing etc) thereby assisting them become financially and operationally self-sustainable as well as assist in deal exit process

Overseeing the portfolio management for key investments thereby ensuring smooth implementation of overall portfolio operations and actively monitoring development effectiveness indicators to be associated with FI portfolios

Monitoring progress of portfolio companies periodically by deploying ICD's risk management tools to identify the likelihood of potential roadblocks /risks. Reporting to the management on the distressed projects at early stages for better decision making and proposing recommendations in order to resolve the problem and minimize negative impact on ICD and incorporating current incidents as learned lessons for ICD

Establishing periodical evaluation of the companies in coordination with the portfolio managers by attending the general assemblies meeting and identifying their financial positions as well as finding out their ongoing new developments

Experience

  • 8-9  years experience in Investment Banking/ corporate finance / development financing 

Qualifications

    • Master Degree in Finance or MBA from a reputable University.
    • CFA / CA (preferred)
    • Applicant must be fluent in French and English
