Corporate Finance, Strategy Manager
My client is a leader in with diverse business in businesses such as natural resources, real estate.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, you will be involved in generating insights and strategic themes to foster continuous strategic thinking throughout the organisation. This would include leveraging off scenario analysis and simulation to evaluate the potential impact of changes in structure, cost base, tax framework, etc. on the Group's businesses. You will support the management of the Natural Resources portfolio of investments. You will be preparing on an ad-hoc basis commercial analysis on existing and new business opportunities.
You will partner with the business units to gather up-to-date market intelligence and pro-actively provide direction on strategic themes / issues to be addressed. You will be involved in preparing strategy / investment papers for the Group's Investment / Strategy Committee.
This role will also be managing ad-hoc M&A transactions including undertaking due diligence, valuation, liaising with advisors to clear regulatory hurdles, tax planning, reviewing legal documentation, etc.
Ideally, you are a Bachelor degree in accountancy, commerce or business with 7 to 10 years' of experience in a Big 4 Corporate Finance division or top-tier management consultancy. MBA and/or CFA would be highly regarded. You possess strong, analytical, numerical and financial modelling skills. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You have strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to interact and influence up to C-level stakeholders.
