$20 Billion Fund - Private Equity, Private Debt / BDC, CLO and Special Situations

Description

The firm seeks a VP / Director of DCM with experience in sourcing, negotiating and implementing leverage facilities against private equity fund commitments, a portfolio of credit assets, and single asset debt financing. Specific products include: Capital call / subscription lines, Total return swaps ("TRS") / prime brokerage accounts, and CLO and CMBS securitization.

Candidate will work with the investment team to optimize the financing of investment opportunities and have strong lender relationships with Banks, Middle Market Lenders, Private Debt Funds, BDCs, Family Offices, SWF, Pensions and other sources of private capital.

The candidate must have strong DCM financial modeling foundation.

Profile

The DCM professional will have 6 to 10 years of experience in the capital markets. Ideally, the candidate will come from a Capital Markets team at a middle market focused Private Equity firm or Private Debt / BDC business. We will also look at top candidates from Debt Capital Markets teams from Corporate and Investment Banking with strong High Yield and Leveraged Finance programs.

Exceptional credit / LBO financial modeling skills are a must. All candidates will have to complete a case and modeling study as part of the interview process.

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Strong negotiation and documentation skills with astute commercial acumen.

Exceptional work ethic in a transaction-oriented environment.

Undergraduate from with strong academic performance. Advanced degrees / CFA are a plus
