Responsibilities
  • Review ongoing compliance with regulatory standards pertaining to liquidity risk, for e.g. the Liquidity Coverage Ratio and Net Stable Funding Ratio, and the preparation of liquidity risk-related disclosures
  • Provide independent and effective challenge to the treasury function to manage liquidity risk
  • Review internal thresholds set on regulatory/internal liquidity risk metrics; provide oversight on the submission of regulatory returns pertaining to liquidity risk
  • Support ad-hoc regulatory and internal stress testing exercises that involve liquidity risk considerations
  • Review the local adoption of group-wide liquidity risk policies and standards in Hong Kong
  • Support the preparation of risk updates to risk oversight committees
  • Lead or participate in ad hoc projects related to liquidity risk, conduct user acceptance test arising from system / risk engine changes to ensure liquidity risk remains properly captured




Requirements
  • Degree holder in finance, business or risk management
  • Possess minimum 5 years' relevant experience in asset-liability management, liquidity risk management or internal audit in corporate treasury with sizeable financial institutions
  • Holder of Chartered Financial Analyst / Financial Risk Manager qualification is an added advantage
  • Sound knowledge in banking products
  • Solid understanding of prevailing regulatory requirements on liquidity risk in Hong Kong
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
  • A good team player, result-oriented, with strong sense of ownership
