The GIPS Compliance Analyst is responsible for maintaining the firm's compliance with the CFA Institute's Global Performance Presentation Standards (GIPS®). The candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the GIPS verification process and will serve as the primary liaison with third-party verifiers. Position requires frequent interaction with Product Management team related to composite design objectives and expectations; with Portfolio Strategists and Marketing related to marketing materials and disclosure; and with the Performance Department in an advisory capacity to ensure that composites are constructed and maintained in a compliant manner.  The GIPS Compliance Analyst is responsible for analysis of regulatory and industry practice requirements, and must be able to assist the business in the development and implementation of procedures to meet these requirements as well as maintain the firm's GIPS policies and procedures.  Further duties include reviewing marketing, sales and client servicing materials and literature to ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations.


Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a CIPM or CFA holder (or candidate) preferred.  3-5 years of prior performance measurement and GIPS experience within the Asset management industry is required.  The candidate must have an excellent working knowledge of the GIPS standards in addition to experience with composite construction and maintenance and the GIPS verification process.  S/he must possess strong research and analytical skills and the ability apply analytical and decision-making skills in a collaborative environment.  The candidate must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and have the ability to balance regulatory and policy standards with business needs and requirements.  S/he must have stellar organizational skills, managing multiple priorities, and producing consistently accurate work within strict deadlines.  The candidate must demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills and confidence interacting with all levels of management.  The position will reside within the Compliance Department of The Boston Company Asset Management, LLC.
