Job Summary & Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial agreements and trading and research relationships with external brokers and vendors. Collaborate with investment and trading professionals to gather and understand business needs. Responsible for managing the broker vote process and budget.
  • Responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of research/commission management systems.
  • Develop communications and processes for valuing research, client reporting, RFP questionnaires and regulatory requests.
  • Provide regular updates to Trading Desks as to the progress of the commission budget, at the team and strategy level.
  • Participate in other projects as requested by management.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience, and advanced understanding of equity trading procedures, regulations, and broader financial concepts.
  • Experience with data base management and ability to lead projects to accommodate business needs.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. MBA or CFA a plus.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of the buy-side, Institutional Investment process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to effectively work in group environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, and perform functions with high level of detail and attention.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of trading systems.
  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated initiative and persistence.
