Position Purpose

To assist the APAC Chief Sourcing Offices in the Procurement Business Process, Supplier Risk Controls and enhancement of the existing monitoring documentation/systems/tools. Develop procurement change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives as well as evaluating the risks and impacts of planned organizational change. Identifying and managing anticipated resistance to change by leading change management work streams with a structured methodology process.

Responsibilities

Interaction with local procurement coordinators, local COOs, Business and Function Managers, Group Procurement in relation to contract management, supplier risk management, Know Your Supplier and relevant permanent control in the region.

Direct Responsibilities

Process
  • Define, enhance, document and implement Strategic Sourcing and Procurement standards in terms of policies, processes, SLAs, interface to other processes, key procedures, data and systems used to support the process.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities from an end to end perspective.
  • Drive standardized procurement processes that deliver holistic value
  • Execute process improvement
Systems and Tools
  • Enhance source - to - contract, procure - to - pay processes and tools
  • Enhance procurement intelligence systems, spend analysis and tools and become a first level source of information by the Procurement Managers and line of business.
Supplier Risk
  • Implement program for compliance with Third Party Risk Management Framework , Outsourcing, Information Security and Third Party Due Diligence
  • Assist the Supplier on-boarding due diligences and Annual Review
  • Follow-up with Procurement Managers and local Business and Function Managers on on-going and new Supplier risk mitigation action plans
Contributing Responsibilities
  • Assist the APAC CSO in the functional governance of the ISPL Procurement COE via contribution to the definition and enhancement of the COE mission, task and deliverables
  • Align with Group Strategic Sourcing Processes, Governance and performance to ensure mutualization and implementation of global programs in APAC
  • Help maintain the Supplier Risk Management documentation and dashboard
  • Prepare relevant data analysis and reporting (spend analysis, vendor analysis)
  • Help in the implementation, enhancement and monitoring of systems supporting the Procurement and Supplier Risk Management process
Performance Measurement Criteria
  • % of pending vs complete KYS files in which APAC Procurement has control
  • % of procedures pending renewal in which APAC Procurement has involvement
  • Satisfaction levels of permanent Control implementation in relation to Supplier Risk Management


Technical and Behavioral Competencies required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Very strong excel, process flows and mapping, powerpoint presentation skills
  • Excellent procurement and business process writing, documentation, and transformation skills
  • Very strong work ethic and ability to deal with confidential information
  • Experience with a multicultural environment
  • The ability to identify risks and develop appropriate responses
  • Demonstrate excellent relationship management and conflict management capabilities in order to guide the client/vendor relationship through such experiences
Experience and Qualifications required
  • 5+ years' experience working in financial industry, preferred experience in business process transformation, project management, negotiation, vendor relations, implementing procedures & process improvements, performance metrics and reporting
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with different stakeholders
  • Strong project leadership skills to meet strategic and tactical goals
  • Initiative, autonomy, self-motivated, self-starter
  • Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple undertakings at the same time and focus on priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to deal with confidential information
  • Experience working successfully in a multicultural environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
