Job Summary:
In light of Client Centricity as one of the strategic execution pillars, HKEX has established the Central Client Services Department with expectations. The Central Client Services is looking for a motivated Associate to join its Market Maker Monitoring team.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the client enquiries function for Derivatives markets, ensuring that client enquiries are handled promptly and professionally
• Manage critical daily tasks on derivatives operations, including processing client on-boarding, reviewing technical tests and collaborating with other teams on scheduling rollout. Other operational tasks include maintenance of client database, billing handling, device and updating relevant areas of HKEX website
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency, reduce cost and improve the overall operational performance
• Collaborate with other teams to complete user acceptance tests

Requirements:

• University degree or higher in finance, computer science, statistics, or a similar subject
• 4 years or more of working experience in the financial industry, with a preference for roles related to derivatives operations (client on-boarding, technical testing and hotline)
• A team-player attitude and ability to develop strong relationships
• Strong organizational skills, task prioritization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in securities with exposure to Hong Kong and Mainland cash and derivatives markets
• Have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• General Excel and VBA Programming skills are required, proficiency in programming and/or Power BI is a plus
