The Role: Compliance Services Analyst - Early Careers

The Team: S&P Global's Managed Data Services aims to provide the highest level of accuracy, visibility, and efficiency to our clients who work within the Private Capital Markets. We empower a diverse spectrum of private equity and venture capital firms to more effectively control their data and drive internal analytics and insights. Whether it is for portfolio analytics, valuations, investor reporting, or on-demand insight into operating metrics of a specific asset, this team is at the forefront of the FinTech space.

The Impact: The Compliance Services platform is experiencing significant organic growth in business from existing clients and targeting to bring on additional business from new sales. Given the direct interface Account Analysts have with clients, proper team coverage and subject matter knowledge on CLOs is critical to delivering premium support.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate and manage the day-to-day deliverables to clients
  • Perform routine reconciliation of key data points with trustees
  • Run comparison analysis on compliance test results against trustee reports
  • Monitor cash collection accounts to ensure activity and transactions are processed properly
  • Manage inquiries regarding collateral attributes and transactions
  • Complete special projects as assigned
What We're Looking For:
  • BA or BS Degree; Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Excellent writing skills-must be clear and concise
  • Ability to convey complex subject matter clearly and engagingly
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Attention to detail and good multitasking skills
  • Ability to quickly absorb and put into practice new information, instructions, or procedures, while seamlessly performing current job tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills-must work harmoniously with analysts and other editors across regions and time zones
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and display a strong degree of flexibility while working under pressure
  • This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is 33,400 - 66,400 USD.Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
