The Group Treasury RRAP (Reporting, Risk, Analytics & Platforms) team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager individual to join as Group Treasury RRAP Liquidity Platform Lead. This is a unique opportunity to be part of Group Treasury and work with a specialised team of professionals who ensure Macquarie continues to meet its regulatory obligations, deliver enhancements and drive the evolution of the data, systems and processes that support the functioning of Group Treasury. You will work in the financial centre of Macquarie, driving real change for our businesses.

As an experienced and passionate leader, you will report directly to the Group Treasury RRAP Head of Liquidity Data and Platforms Lead to manage the Regulatory and Internal Liquidity Platform team responsible for managing reporting solutions for liquidity regulatory and internal reporting.

What impact will you have?

The successful applicant will lead the team of Platform SMEs, manage senior stakeholder engagement, support business partnering while developing and managing the following functions:
  • Ensure that Liquidity Platform solutions and reporting capabilities are effective and enable us to meet all reporting obligations in a timely manner and with a risk mindset
  • Accountable for implementation of QRM and AXIOM reporting solutions as part of change management
  • Lead and oversee high profile liquidity initiatives and automation projects
  • Manage uplift of the information, analysis, documentation and reporting capabilities that Macquarie uses to monitor and manage its financial risks
  • Ensure effective knowledge sharing among various teams involved in liquidity reporting
  • Support successful partnership with the Technology and Vendor teams
  • Propose improvements to the reporting processes through automation, reduced risk and insights
  • Make significant contribution to the GT E2E Transformation project, ensuring this delivers a shift in time and effort from reporting to analytics and insight
  • Ensure close connections between current state uplift and E2E Transformation programs.
What skills will you use:

You will bring a relevant accounting, finance or master's degree, coupled with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate with cross functional teams, possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills, and be an influential member of the team. Experience in financial services or investment banking with previous exposure to liquidity reporting and ratios (LCR and NSFR) is preferred. Techno-functional skills, experience in managing reporting solutions / platform in a previous role.

Ideal candidate would possess knowledge of QRM (Quantitative Risk Management) and/or AXIOM. Excellent verbal and written communication skills across a variety of different audiences and adaptable to change.
