Position: Fund Accountant

London-based global private equity firm dedicated to investing in mid-market in Europe and Israel.

Role:

An exceptional opportunity for candidates who are looking to make a move into an in-house prestigious PE firm. The CFO is one of the most enthusiastic mentors I have come across. The firm's Funds are managed by the Fund Finance team which is headed up by the Fund Controller.

This role will sit in the Fund Finance Team and report directly into the Fund Controller. This is a newly created position, in which the candidate will manage their designated funds from end to end.

The Responsibility:

• Cash flow forecasting
• Prepare and process investment payments & vendor invoices received
• Review Drawdowns & Distributions notices prepared by 3rd Party Administrators
• Assist in coordination of the investment & divestment process
• Review recharges from Investment Manager
• Manage 3rd party Administrators
• Oversight of fund accounting; review quarterly reports & audited accounts prepare by Administrators
• Assist in managing fund audit process
• Compiling quarterly portfolio investment summaries
• Update and maintain internal fund's investment figures
• Prepare invoices for management fees, monitoring fees and other
• Support in managing information on data room
• Prepare responses from LPs' requests
• Co-ordinating Partner Transfers

Additional duties:

• Assist in KYC/AML packs for all companies, banks, auditors, service providers
• Assist in investor KYC (changes to fund structure, communication with investors on various KYC questions

Requirements:

• Experience in private equity fund accounting
• Qualified Accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent
