Strategic Communications Manager/Director, Leading Global Private Equity Firm, Singapore/Hong Kong

About our client

Our client is a high profile, market-leading investment firm which is looking for a Strategic Communications Manager/Director to support their APAC business based in either Hong Kong or Singapore. Reporting to the head of communications at their global HQ, you will work with teams across the organisation in APAC. This role will require a collaborative individual with excellent communication skills, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and great attention to detail. What the job involves

• You will be responsible for M&A and fund-related communications, bringing a strategic and holistic approach to communications
• You will work hand-in-hand with the rest of the global communications team, while having the autonomy to shape and deliver your own communications strategies
• Proactive and reactive media relations across the APAC region
• Content production including press releases, communication plans, Q&As
• Leading communication activities during portfolio company M&A and fund raises
• Issues management, as and when necessary

Who we are looking for

• Significant experience within Communications, inhouse at a Private Equity Firm, Venture Capital, Asset Management firm, Investment Bank or at a financial services PR agency based in Asia
• Experience from Private Capital or Financial Services, either directly or through an agency background based in Asia
• Native or near native English copywriting skills
• Deep knowledge of the international finance industry
• Comfortable moving from high-level strategy to hands-on project management and delivery
• A self-starter that thrives in an ambitious, innovative and international environment
