Application / Team Overview:

Within Treasury and Trade Solutions group, Cash Management practice of APAC region offers various Payments and Receivables products to large corporations and governments for their various needs such as salary payments, supplier payments, mutual funds dividends, insurance premium payments etc. P&R group's strategic objective is to provide best in class and innovative products to its clients to serve them for their growth and multinational aspirations.

Role Description:

We are seeking a SME/ business analyst lead for P&R team's High value cross border payments processor development team. The successful candidate will interact with the key stakeholders from product, operations and other teams for technology delivery of application activities & new projects. The candidate will also interact with development Project Manager, the development, testing, and production support teams, as well as other departments within Citigroup (such as the System Administrators, Database Administrators, Data Centre Operations, and Change Control groups) for TTS platforms.

He/she requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility. The candidate will be a rigorous technologist with a strong understanding of payments workflows and implementation of those workflows in CitiFT

The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large development team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in high-pressured environment is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Gathering of requirements from business stakeholders
• Analyzing and converting business requirement into functional specifications
• Preparation of Functional Specifications and system requirement
• Manage user stories and acceptance criteria has to be defined as a user cases for dev team to understand on the changes
• Provide guidance to the dev team from a requirement perspective
• Providing functional support during SIT / UAT phases
• Functional analysis of the SIT / UAT defects and recommend solutions, provide input to dev team for defects resolution
• Analysis of defects and provide input to Dev / PS for defect resolution for post implementation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 10 years of proven project experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst in Payments domain
• Knowledge of APAC Payment schemes is a significant plus
• Experience with Payments & Receivables applications and Payments Product Processes would be advantageous

Technical / Functional Proficiency:

• Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Experience in Financial industry i.e. Payment, Receivables, and Wholesale Banking etc.
• Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver quickly
• Experience in working on a large-scale global project.
• Relationship builder and team player
• Must have extensive experience in Microsoft tools, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint
• Strong knowledge in GPP ( a Finastra Product)
• Knowledge of database concepts and PL/SQL programming using Oracle
• Experience with SDLC methodologies and structured systems analysis and design
• Excellent documentation skills in preparing business requirement, functional specs/design, use case and functional flow documents
