Investment Analyst - Top Venture Debt Fund

Metis Search have partnered with an SME Lender who provide Venture loans to growing businesses within the technology space.

The business is looking to bring an Investment Analyst into their team to assist with new opportunity origination, help screen potential portfolio companies and assist with structuring new debt investments.

Role Responsibilities

• Focus on specific European regions and research high growth tech firms, within the investment thesis
• Liaise with and interact with executives (CEO, Founder) at target companies
• Conduct screening of opportunities via research and meetings
• help to underwrite investments and prepare memos to be presented to the investment committee
• Help structure new debt investments for the businesses you uncover

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
• Excellent research skills
• Be a self-starter with good interpersonal skills
• Have right to work within the UK
