The Aladdin Revenue Marketing Team is looking for an experienced Content Strategist to help create and manage meaningful marketing assets across earned, owned, shared, and paid channels. This role reports to the Head of Content & Creative for the Aladdin Business and is one part writer, one part producer, and one part orchestrator-with an emphasis on emotional storytelling that translates into bottom-line results. The right candidate will have a strong background in copywriting, communications, and SaaS technologies-combined with a demonstrated expertise in financial services or fintech.

Responsibilities:
  • Hold the pen on strategic content initiatives-taking the lead on writing, editing, and ushering approvals
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Content Marketing Team, subject matter experts, creative teams, research teams, external partners, as well as legal/compliance and communications partners to bring the brand to life through short- and long-form copy, video, animation, and live events
  • Produce unique artifacts that advance the Aladdin voice, extend Aladdin's reach over myriad channels, and deepen the brand experience for institutional investment managers across time and space
  • Establish cross-functional workflows and content governance programs that enroll internal and external teams within a forward-thinking test and learn environment-while enforcing brand continuity and consistency
  • Use data and insights to improve the creation and distribution of content
  • Keep a pulse on the changing world of content marketing-proposing new formats, distribution methods, and personalization techniques
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in some combination of communications, PR, digital marketing, copywriting, and content marketing for financial services or fintech organizations
  • Extreme interest in communication skills and attention to detail with a proven ability to orchestrate language as a connected system of brand experience
  • Intellectual curiosity for and understanding of highly multifaceted or complex subject matter
  • Ability to write, deliver, and handle a range of voices that live under the umbrella of the global Aladdin brand
  • Application must include a portfolio of writing samples
  • A proficient English speaker (or fluency equivalent)
For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $147,250 - $185,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock's hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 3 days in the office each week, with the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week; some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities. Beginning in September, all employees will shift to at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
