Associate Portfolio Advisor

Manages a small set of fee producing investment accounts, generally for small to mid- sized personal trust relationships and individual investors requiring a baseline level of technical expertise and versatility with an expanding knowledge of a broad range of investment solutions. This role requires certification and continuous growth in the utilization and appropriate execution of our Goals Driven client experience, emerging technology capabilities, investment methodologies, and our full suite of investment solutions delivered in coordination and in collaboration with the broader client service team. Provides high level support to the Investment Advisory team. This role will have a mastery level of knowledge utilizing all tools such as CRA, WealthBench, GPS, WM Alternatives, IWS, FactSet, Fee Proposal Tool. Provides guidance and mentorship to Investment Associates. Assists Investment Advisor team in supporting risk and compliance requirements for the team, including working diligently to mitigate losses due to error and being mindful of possible contingencies. Coordinating and/or supporting investment or client service teams' monthly REV and New Account Review processes and documentation with direction from manager.

1.Manages investment activities for a growing set of major fee revenue producing accounts, representing small to mid-sized personal trusts and individual portfolios typically mid- range in size and complexity within their market with some managerial input.

2.Assists in development and recommendations of designed to achieve investment objectives for specific individual clients.

3.Works with Investment Advisors to understand the overall investment strategy and may provide input for revisions as goals and objectives change and in the context of client needs working closely and proactively with the broader client service team to identify and execute on areas of opportunity.

4.Developing an influential presence with the local client facing team, clients, co-trustees, consultants, the bank's legal area and outside attorneys to ensure communication of client requirements and coordinate portfolio activity.

5.Consistently demonstrates increasing proficiency with new investment strategies, tools and capabilities, and portfolio research and investment methodologies through regular contact and engagement with the National Investment and Goals Driven Wealth Management Practices, their peers, and broader Wealth and Asset Management.

6.Provides high level support to the Investment Advisory team. Demonstrates mastery level skill utilizing all tools needed including CRA, WealthBench, GPS, and WM Alternatives. Provides guidance and mentoring to Investment Associates.

7.Accountable for personal adherence to best practices as measured by the PM Dashboard and related reporting.

8.Works with manager to understand how to personally contribute towards the execution of initiatives, new capability rollouts, and required training.

9.Provides continuous feedback on areas for improvement to leadership on national initiatives, changes, and expectations.

10.Adheres to National Investment Guidelines, feedback from the REV peer review process, and observes sound risk management practices.

Qualifications
•Minimum 2 to 4 years of investment experience working in investment services industry
•Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
•May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
•Knowledge of investment and portfolio management theory, accounting and financial principles, associated investment strategies and instruments, and characteristics of various marketplaces, usually acquired through formal education and work experience, is required to manage portfolios.
•Analytical and interpretive skills are needed to understand client needs in the context of investment strategies. •Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.

This is an office-based position and for the effective performance of this role, the duties and responsibilities must be carried out onsite.

Salary range: $108,000 to $120,000. Salary range is an estimate of base pay.
