Responsibilities
- Handle regular or ad-hoc data analytical requests from different business teams, develop and implement end-to-end data pipeline from collection, ETL, analysis, reporting to visualization including dashboard building & statistical modelling
- Provide support for data issues, maintain the best data management practices and involved in different data/digitalization related projects
- As a business analyst to support the delivery of Private Bank system enhancements and participate in bank-wide system implementation projects. Working closely with different business units to convert user requests to technical requirements, plan & manage user acceptance test for in-house-developed and vendor developed application systems
- Support business users on daily use of different data warehouses, Private Bank system and/or other bank-wide processing systems. Conduct trainings to internal users whenever necessary
- Work on ad-hoc tasks/projects whenever required
- University graduate, preferably in Quantitative Analysis, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of data analysis and business analysis experience in banking or finance industry with heavy involvement in data development/management projects
- Proficiency in relational database (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server) and end-user query & presentation tools (e.g. Hyperion, Tableau, SQL, Excel)
- Good communication and liaison skills,be able to coordinate effectively among various stakeholders, external vendors and line management for project delivery
- Good presentation, analytical and documentation skills in both English and Chinese. Be able to communicate ideas clearly in verbal or written form
- Well organized,be able to plan, manage and track own work on multiple concurrent tasks in both Waterfall and Agile project environments
- Can do attitude, passionate, self-motived, keen learning and committed to quality and continual improvement. Be able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Familiar with private banking products and operations would be a big plus
