We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager - Middle Office.

Principal Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of business initiatives and activities in support of business area aims
• Participate in project implementation and change delivery
• Support in business planning activities which may include financial, technological and resource planning
• Contribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedback
• Support in forums and committees to represent view of business area
• Support the development and monitoring of internal governance activities
• Investigate and apply remedies for discrete issues which may be adversely affecting business unit performance
• Evaluate and analyse management information relating to external service providers of their provisions, monitor their performance and ensure service level agreements are honoured
• Monitor inter-system reconciliation and perform necessarily follow up ensuring timely resolution of breaks including root cause analysis and ensure sustainability of the control process
• Assist operations management in managing non-financial risk including risk / control assessment, monitoring plan of actions, periodic assessment, and refinement

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of private banking operations and investment products
• Experiences in reconciliation, controls and outsourcing
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Exposure to Avaloq and equivalent core banking applications will be an advantage
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Agile and multitasking, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experiences in working in international financial institutions and multi-cultural environment
