We are seeking a seasoned Special Assistant to join one of our distinguished clients in New York. As the ideal candidate, you will be a policy specialist, responsible for managing information flow to a senior principal and providing expert advice on policy, talking points, and risk.
To qualify for this position, you must possess exceptional writing skills with a proven track record in crafting speeches, briefs, and talking points. You will be expected to anticipate the principals needs, manage correspondence with key stakeholders, take notes, and maintain the mission's schedule while adhering to its policies. Additionally, you should have prior work experience in policy analysis and be adept at advising diplomats, researchers, and communication professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Peacekeeping or Counterterrorism or have worked for a political risk consulting firm with experience in finance or political risk. Political advisors who have had prior exposure to the UN Security Council would be particularly well-suited for this role. This is a permanent position based in New York.
