Quilter Investors is building a Manager Research team. Having recently appointed a Head of Manager Research, this provides the opportunity for an experienced Manager Research Analyst to join a new team to support a high performing Investment Management team managing £22bn in multi-asset, multi-manager solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for researching, analysing and communicating about funds, or managers, that can add value to Quilter Investors investment solutions.

Building relationships with key stakeholders such as the Portfolio Managers will be key to success in this role, as well as working alongside a team of other research analysts to ensure best in class performance. As a Manager Research Analyst in Quilter Investors you will be joining a new Manager Research team, who have a real opportunity to shape and build something that is already proving to be market leading.

Working in close conjunction with the Head of Manager Research, you will work closely with and provide recommendations to support the Portfolio Managers within Quilter Investors as well as working closely with our wider Quilter Investors teams in Responsible Investment, Investment Risk and ODD.

The team has coverage of investments across traditional equity and fixed income asset classes as well as alternative investments such as hedge funds, absolute return, private equity and property. This includes both open-ended UCITS funds, investments trusts, passives and incorporates segregated mandates.

To be successful in this role you will need to be an experienced and enthusiastic Research Analyst who has knowledge of the funds universe and an understanding of different product structure.

You will be joining a multi-asset team, and will need to have experience of working with alternative investments such as hedge funds, absolute return, private equity and property funds.

You are familiar with sustainable and ESG research processes and have a strong interest and understanding of financial markets.

A good knowledge of systems and data for fund analysis such as: Morningstar, Factset, Style Analytics is key for this role.

You will be IMC and ideally CFA qualified or have a willingness to work towards this.
